Mona General Store

Mona General Store is situated at the Mode in Bindayaka Sinwar. We are a small general store, so we carry a bit of everything, not just food items. You can find pens, notebooks, hair oil, and even some basic hardware if you look closely. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit so many different types of goods on the shelves. It’s a bit of a maze inside. I usually know where everything is, but sometimes even I have to search for a specific brand of shampoo. The local kids love coming here because we keep a good stock of chocolates and chips right by the entrance. It can get a bit loud when they all come in at once after school let out. The floors are concrete and a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We don't have any fancy signs or lighting. It is just a simple shop where you can get the things you need for your house. I usually open up around eight in the morning and stay until the last bus passes through the area. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to talk for a few minutes even if they aren't buying anything. It feels good to be part of the community here. We just take things one day at a time and keep the shop going.
