You can find us at 68/3 in the Prathap Nagar area, right by Barkat Nagar. Our office is mostly just desks covered in blueprints and stacks of folders that we haven't gotten around to filing yet. It’s not one of those shiny offices you see in magazines. We have a few old computers and a printer that jams if you put too much paper in it. There’s usually four of us here, sometimes five if the field guy comes in to write his reports. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to contractors or trying to figure out why a permit is taking so long. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have a map of the local area pinned up with a bunch of markers on it. We drink way too much tea during the day. Sometimes a client comes in and we have to clear a space on the table just so they can sit down. It’s a practical place for doing practical work. We don’t wear suits unless we absolutely have to go to a formal meeting at the municipal office. Mostly it’s just jeans and shirts. We’ve been working on projects around here for a good bit now. We know which roads get flooded and which parts of town are growing. It’s just a small consultancy trying to help people get their buildings sorted out without too much fuss.
