Minakshijain Architects

Minakshijain Architects is our small practice based out of Shankar Colony in Jaipur. Our address is 129, and we’re located in the Naya Khera part of Ambabari. The pin code here is 30202. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood, which is good when you’re trying to focus on complicated architectural drawings. We have a few big drafting tables and some computers that have seen better days. We’ve been working from this office for a long time, and we like the local feel of the area. We aren't some big firm with glass skyscrapers; we just do our work from this old building. Most of our projects come from people in the city who know our name. We spend a lot of time talking to clients about their homes and trying to make their ideas work on paper. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites to see how the builders are doing. The office is usually a bit messy with rolls of paper and pens everywhere. We don’t have a marketing person or a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our desks. We take a break for lunch around one and usually get some food from the local market nearby. It’s a simple, honest way to run an architecture firm and we’ve been at it for years here in Shankar Colony, making sure the designs are right.
