architect paradise

We've been working here in Jhunjhunu for a while now. Most people know where we are in Rajasthan, right around the 333045 area code. The office is just architect paradise, nothing too fancy, just a place where we sit and draw up plans. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy with the work. We started this because we liked seeing how houses come together in this part of the country. It’s not a big corporate setup. We just have a few desks and some old drafting boards. Sometimes the tea arrives late and the internet acts up, but that’s just how it is. People come in to talk about their plots or just to ask questions about how to fix a wall. We try to keep things straightforward. No one here uses those big fancy words you hear in the city offices. We just look at the site and figure out what fits. Being in Jhunjhunu, you get to know the local materials well. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the masons. It's a small team, but we get the job done. If you're around this part of Raj, you might have passed by. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It's been a long journey from when we first opened up. We just like making sure the drawings are right before the digging starts.
