Aakalpan Architects

Aakalpan Architects is located over at Srimention Apartment, specifically in unit 309, C-110. You can find us on Kamla Marg at G-23 in the T Skkim area. It's an interesting spot for an architecture firm because we’re right inside an apartment complex. It keeps us grounded and close to how people actually live, which makes sense for the work we do. The office itself is basically a converted apartment space, so it feels quite cozy. We have our drawing boards set up where a living room might usually be. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors or the sounds of the street from Kamla Marg, but we don't mind. It feels like we're part of the neighborhood rather than stuck in some sterile office park. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve filled the place with books, models, and rolls of paper. It’s not always perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is. Aakalpan Architects isn't about being fancy or using big words to describe ourselves. We just like building things and figuring out how spaces should work. Being in T Skkim gives us a unique perspective on the local surroundings. We just come in every morning, make some tea, and get to work on our projects. It’s a straightforward life for us here at Srimention Apartment. We don't need a corporate tower to do our drawings, just a desk and some good light.
