Miltriary Engineer Service

My name is M. Velmurugan and I work as a Junior Engineer for the Civil side of things. Our office is part of the Garrison Engineer setup in Jaipur, right on Kathipura Road. It’s a busy place with a lot of military and civilian movement. The Pin is 302012 if you’re looking for it on a map. I spend most of my time looking at blueprints or out on various sites checking how the construction is going. Jaipur is beautiful, but the heat is no joke, especially when you're out on a dusty road all afternoon. The office itself is pretty basic—just files, metal desks, and some old chairs. It’s a government job, so there’s a lot of recording and documentation that has to be done precisely. We don’t really do any promotion; we just handle the engineering needs of the station. Most days involve a lot of walking and measuring things. We have a small crew and we’ve all been working together for quite some time now. There’s a lot of responsibility in making sure the civil works are done right. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People come in with paperwork, we check it, and we move on to the next task. It’s practical, straightforward work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been at this Kathipura Road location for many years, and the routine hasn't changed much for Miltriary Engineer Service.
