Mgd Arts Llp operates out of this spot, and it’s mostly just a functional area where we handle our daily business. Hawa Sadak is always moving, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside that we’ve basically stopped noticing. The plot itself is a decent size, and we’ve set things up so we have enough room to breathe while we work. It’s not a fancy studio with designer furniture; it’s more like a collection of desks and chairs that have seen some use over the years. We spend a lot of time here, usually starting early and staying until the work is finished. There’s a small shop nearby where we grab snacks, and the local tea stall knows our order by heart now. We don’t really do the whole corporate branding thing. This is just where we are based. It’s a practical location for us, and being in Rajasthan, we’re used to the dust and the heat that comes through the door. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have and making sure things are done right before we lock up for the night. It is a no-nonsense environment for people who just want to work.
