Mayur Emporium

Our shop, Mayur Emporium, is sitting at 11 B on Ghee Walon Ka Rasta in Johari Bazar. It’s a busy little street, and there’s always the smell of something cooking or the sound of someone calling out nearby. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, and the walls have seen a lot of history. The shop itself is a bit of a mix of things, kept in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where every single item is hidden. It’s a hands-on kind of business where we’re constantly rearranging things to make more room. Johari Bazar is a competitive place, but we just focus on what’s happening inside our four walls. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or try to sound more important than we are. We're just a local emporium where people come when they need something specific. The floor is a bit uneven in places and the door creaks when it's humid, but it’s home to us. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in off the street or dealing with the local suppliers who drop by. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood. We don't plan on moving anytime soon, it suits us just fine.
