If you’ve ever walked through Johari Bazaar in Jaipur, you know how packed it gets. Massive Farms Private Limited is tucked away at 2339, Ram Lala Ji Ka Rasta. It’s a bit funny having a farming company based in one of the busiest jewelry and textile markets in the world, but it works for us. We’re right in the heart of the old city, where the streets are narrow and the history is thick. Our office is in a traditional building, and we spend our days navigating the crowds just to get to our desks. We deal with farm management and logistics from here, coordinating with people out in the rural areas while we sit in the middle of all the noise. You can hear the motorbikes and the shopkeepers calling out all day long. It’s a long way from the quiet fields, but it keeps us on our toes. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just a few rooms filled with maps and phone lines. We started this because we saw a gap between the city markets and the farmers, and we wanted to fill it. Sometimes the heat in these old buildings is tough, but we manage with old ceiling fans. It’s an honest way to make a living, and being in Jaipur-302003 gives us a unique perspective on how things move from the ground to the consumer.
