Manuhar

Manuhar is located at number 20 in Pravasi Nagar, near Dadi Ka Phatak. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. The building is just a simple structure, nothing that would win any awards, but it keeps the rain out and gives us a place to work. The name Manuhar actually means something to us, but we don’t go around shouting about it. We just let the work speak. Pravasi Nagar is mostly quiet except for the sounds from the railway crossing nearby. You get used to the trains after a few weeks. We start our day early, sweeping the front and getting the equipment ready. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy logo. Most of our customers are people who live within walking distance or pass by on their way to the crossing. We spend our afternoons prepping for the next day. It’s a repetitive cycle, but there’s a certain comfort in it. We have a small table in the corner where we sit to have our own meals. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat for a bit, and we don't mind. It’s a local life. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just run the place at 20 Pravasi Nagar as best as we can. Every day is pretty much the same, and that is fine by us.
