K. Suraj Exports Inc.

Our workplace is situated in the R. I. I. C. O. Industrial Area over in Mansarovar. Specifically, we are at H - 1/102- B. It is a very busy area with a lot of manufacturing and warehouses. K. Suraj Exports Inc. is just one of many units here. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks reversing. It’s a bit gritty, but that is the nature of an industrial zone. We have a fair amount of space, which we need for all the goods we handle. The office is just a small partitioned area in the corner of the warehouse. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we have a couple of big coolers running all day. We deal with a lot of international shipping, so there is a mountain of paperwork to get through. We have a small team of workers who have been here since the start. We don't have a polished look or a big reception area. Most people who come by are delivery drivers or customs agents. We just focus on getting the crates packed properly and making sure the labels are correct. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve got a good routine down. We usually eat our lunch together in the shade of the main door. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do well.
