Mama General Store

Mama General Store is over at Malviya Nagar 3. It’s a small neighborhood shop that serves the local people around here. We’ve got the usual stuff like snacks, soap, and household things. It’s the kind of place where people stop by on their way home to grab milk or bread. The shop is quite small, so sometimes people have to wait outside if there are already a couple of customers inside. We have things hanging from the ceiling and tucked into every corner to make the most of the space. It’s often a bit chaotic during the morning rush. We know a lot of the kids from the area who come in for sweets. The shelves are a bit old and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it doesn't bother anyone. We just focus on having what people need. Dealing with the various suppliers who come by in their vans is a big part of the day. We don't have a fancy cash register, just a drawer and a notebook to keep track of things. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us. We aren't looking to expand or do anything big. We just want to keep being the local store for Malviya Nagar. It’s been our life for quite some time now and we're used to the routine. Every morning we sweep the front and get ready for whoever comes to the door.
