Makhan Store

Makhan Store is sitting right at the entrance of Meena Colony 2 in the Gangapole area. We are just a small local shop that caters to the people who live in the houses nearby. Since we are located right at number 2, we are very easy to find for anyone walking or driving into the colony. We try to stock all the basic things that families might need on a daily basis. The shop is run by my family, and we all take turns being behind the counter depending on who is free. It’s definitely not a big supermarket, so you shouldn't expect wide aisles or fancy bright lighting. It’s just a regular, honest store where you can pick up your milk, bread, eggs, and other basic groceries. We know almost everyone who lives here in Meena Colony by their first name, which makes the days go by faster. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in with a few coins for some candy, and we always try to have a little something for them. It’s a fairly quiet life here in Gangapole, and we really like being a small part of it. We keep our prices as low as we possibly can because we know our neighbors work hard for their money. The store stays open until late in the evening so people can pick up whatever they forgot on their way back home from work. It’s a simple setup with old shelves, but it works perfectly for us and for the people who live around here. We have been here for years.
