You’ll find Mahesh Watch Co on Vidhyadhar Ka Rasta in Tripoliya Bazar. It’s right in the middle of the old city, where the roads are narrow and the history is everywhere. My shop isn’t very big, but it’s got everything required to handle watch repairs. I’ve got shelves filled with old cases and straps that I’ve collected over time. Tripoliya Bazar is a hectic place, but once you step inside the shop, things slow down a bit. I focus on the tiny parts under my magnifying glass. It’s funny how a tiny piece of dirt can stop a whole machine. I spend my days taking things apart and putting them back together. I don’t use any corporate talk here. If a watch is broken, I tell you what’s wrong and how much it’ll cost. No fluff. The sunlight hits the street in a certain way in the morning, and that’s when I do my best work. People stop in while they’re out shopping for other things in the bazar. It’s a handy spot if you’re already in the area. I don’t have a big fancy sign, just the name above the door. Most of my regulars have been coming here for years. They know me and I know their watches. It’s a small, honest business that’s been part of this street for a long time. I just keep my head down and do the work, one clock at a time, until it's time to go home to my family.
