Mahaveer Engineers

Our workshop is tucked away at Plot No.-20 in Shri Balaji Nagar, right near the V.K.I. Extn. Badarna. If you walk in, you’ll likely see a couple of us hunched over a lathe or dealing with some metal parts that need fixing. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the floor is definitely showing its age with oil stains and scratches from heavy parts. It’s a real working environment, not some showroom. We deal with mechanical parts and engineering fixes that people bring in when their own setups break down. There is always the sound of grinding or welding in the background. It gets hot in the summer, but we just open the big doors and keep at it. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the metal is being stubborn, but we don't like leaving things half-done. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands since they were teenagers. We know our tools well. It’s quiet in the mornings before the machines start up, which is when we plan out the day's tasks over a quick cup of tea. We don't spend much time on computers or fancy paperwork unless we absolutely have to. Most of what happens at Mahaveer Engineers involves grease, heavy steel, and trying to get things to fit exactly right. It’s just straightforward engineering work for the local industries around us and for anyone who stops by the gate with a problem.
