Maharani Palace

Our place is located on Station Road, right near the Pilovictory Cinama. It’s a part of Jaipur that stays pretty busy all the time with people coming and going. Being near the cinama means there’s always people walking by or looking for a place to stay. Maharani Palace isn’t one of those new, glass buildings you see nowadays. It’s got an older feel to it, which we think is fine for a place like this. We have rooms and some space for guests to sit. The lobby isn't huge, but it's where we spend most of our time checking people in and answering questions about the city or the train schedules. The traffic on Station Road can be a bit much, especially during the day with all the autos and rickshaws honking. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city moving outside. We don't have a huge team of people in uniforms. It’s just us doing the chores and making sure the beds are made and the floors are swept. Sometimes the plumbing needs a little extra attention because the building has some age to it. We don't pretend to be a luxury hotel. It’s just a place for travelers who need a spot near the station. We try to keep the tea hot and the rooms tidy. Most folks just stay for a night or two while they’re passing through. It's a practical spot for someone on a budget.
