We are located right near the Liberty Showroom in Sodala, out on Ajmer Road. If you know the area, you know how busy the traffic gets around here. My day usually starts with the sound of cars and bikes zooming past while I unlock the shutters. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside, it’s full of clocks and watches. Some of them are wall clocks that haven't moved in years, and others are just waiting for a new battery. I’ve lived around Ajmer Road for a long time, so I know a lot of the faces that walk in. Sometimes people just drop by to ask for the time or to see if I can fix a broken buckle. It gets a bit dusty with all the road construction and the wind, so I’m always wiping down the glass cases. There’s something about the sound of a dozen different clocks ticking at the same time that makes the shop feel alive. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just me and the workbench. I spend a lot of time bent over, looking at tiny dials. Sometimes the repairs take longer than I thought, especially the old mechanical ones that people bring in from their grandfathers. It's honest work and it keeps me busy from morning till night. Sodala is a good spot to be, right in the middle of everything. I'm usually here until the sun goes down and things get a bit quieter.
