Madhuvan Hotel

The Jaipur-Agra Highway is a long stretch of road, and we are right near the New Roadways Depot. It’s a busy spot with buses coming and going at all hours. Madhuvan Hotel started because people needed a place to stop that wasn’t too complicated. We get a lot of travelers who are just looking for a room for the night or a hot meal before they continue their journey. The dust from the highway is a constant battle, but we keep the rooms tidy. It’s a practical place. We don’t have fancy carpets or expensive art. What we have are clean beds and a kitchen that stays open late. The staff knows the bus schedules better than anyone else. They’re used to people arriving at 2 AM or leaving before the sun is up. We serve tea in thick glasses and the food is simple, the kind that fills you up. It’s not about being a luxury destination. It’s about being a reliable stop on a long trip. Sometimes we have families staying over, and other times it’s just solo drivers. Everyone gets treated the same way. We’ve been here a while now, and the depot across the way has seen a lot of changes, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s honest work and we enjoy meeting different people every single day.
