Maa Shakti Provision Store

Maa Shakti Provision Store is right on Sansar Chandra Road. It’s a typical grocery spot where we have bags of grains and pulses stacked up near the entrance. The shop feels a bit old-fashioned because we’ve been here a long time. We sell all the daily essentials that people in this part of the city need, like soap, oil, and spices. It gets quite cramped inside when we get a new shipment of boxes. You have to walk carefully between the aisles. We don't have a computer system for everything, we still use a lot of notebooks to keep track of what’s coming and going. The air smells like a mix of different spices and laundry detergent. Sansar Chandra Road is always noisy with buses and rickshaws, so there is a lot of dust that we have to wipe off the jars every morning. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby and just pop in for one or two things they forgot. We know most of them by name. It’s a busy life, standing behind the counter and weighing out things for people. We don't have any bright lights or modern displays, just wooden shelves that have been here for years. It’s a simple provision store and we just keep doing what we do every day to keep the pantry items stocked for the neighborhood.
