Our office is out on Agra Road, which is a bit of a drive for some, but we’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s not like those shiny glass buildings you see in the city center. This place is more practical and straightforward. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day, mostly involving paperwork, phone calls, and coordinating with people coming in. The building itself is older, and you can see the wear on the steps and the walls, but it serves its purpose. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or lounge areas for the staff. Most of us just have our desks with stacks of files and a cup of tea nearby. The atmosphere is usually quiet, except for the occasional sound of the printer or someone talking on the phone. Outside, Agra Road is always full of trucks and buses passing by, but inside we just focus on what needs to get done. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to make sure the work is handled correctly and that everyone who comes through the door gets what they need without too much fuss. It feels like a very grounded place to work. We’ve seen the seasons change through these windows for years, and while things around us get faster, we just keep our steady pace here on the road.
