M. K. Design & Tool Room

M. K. Design & Tool Room is located at 51, Usha Colony in Malviya Nagar. It’s a quiet enough street, but our workshop stays pretty active. We’ve got a mix of drawing tables and heavy tools all in the same space. It’s where we do all the designing and the actual making of the tools people ask for. It’s not a shiny, clean lab; there are metal shavings on the floor and sketches taped to the walls. We started this because we liked the challenge of making things from scratch. Most days involve a lot of measuring and double-checking because even a tiny mistake can ruin a whole piece of work. We don’t have a marketing guy or a big sales team. Usually, it’s just the owner or one of the seniors answering the phone. We prefer it that way because we can give a straight answer right then. Malviya Nagar is a nice spot to work in, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors over the years. We aren't looking to become a massive factory. We just want to keep our quality decent and stay busy with projects that actually interest us. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but seeing a finished tool ready to go is worth the effort. We take pride in the parts we produce and the fact that we handle everything ourselves right here in the colony.
