Lohagarh Fort Resort

This place is out in Village Kachera Wala, tucked away near Kukas on the NH-8. It is not like those modern glass buildings you see in the city center. We used a lot of stone and tried to make it feel like it belongs in the countryside. The road getting here can be a bit bumpy and dusty depending on the season, but once you get inside the gate, it’s much quieter. There are plenty of trees and green spots around the property. We have quite a few local people working here from the nearby villages. They aren't trained in big city schools, so they talk to you like neighbors. The resort has some big walls and open spaces where you can just sit. It gets really quiet at night, which is a big change if you are coming from Jaipur or Delhi. We have some tents and some rooms that look like old cottages. It’s a bit of a walk between different parts of the grounds. Sometimes you might see a peacock or some local birds wandering around. We don't have a lot of fancy rules here. It’s just a place to breathe some fresh air and see the stars. The food is mostly what we know how to cook well, simple local flavors. It’s a big space and we spend a lot of time just keeping the plants watered and the paths clear. It feels more like a village than a hotel.
