The Lnm Institute Of Information Technology is out near Rupa-Ki-Nangal. It’s a bit of a drive from the main part of Jaipur, out toward Kanota. Being out here means it’s a bit quieter than the city center. We spend our time dealing with all sorts of info tech stuff on the campus. The address is Post-Sumel, and it’s a fairly large place. There are students and staff coming and going all the time. It feels like a small community on its own. We have a lot of computers and labs that need constant looking after. The weather gets really dry and hot out here in the summer, but we’re used to it. Most of us live nearby or commute from the city. It’s not just about books; there’s a lot of hands-on work with servers and networks. We don't really do the whole formal corporate thing. It’s more about getting the tech to work right so classes can happen. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always cleaning. It’s a practical place. We focus on the hardware and the software that keeps the institute going. It’s a long day usually, but seeing the place full of activity makes it feel worth it. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It is a busy life out here but we enjoy the quiet evenings and the sunsets over the Jaipur plains.
