We are the people behind Lilypool Hotels and Resorts LLP. Our work happens over at 96, 97, and 104B on Amber Road. If you know Jaipur at all, you know that Amber Road is a busy place with a lot of people moving back and forth all day. We have been based here in the 302002 area for a while. Our daily routine involves looking after the properties and making sure everything is running okay. It’s a lot of walking around between the different numbers on the street. Jaipur is a big city and Rajasthan can be quite a place to work in during the summer months. We are just a small group of staff who keep the lights on and the rooms ready. There is always something that needs fixing or a guest who needs a hand with their bags. We don't spend much time in fancy offices because most of the work is right there on the ground at Amber Road. We see a lot of tourists coming through this part of town on their way to the forts. It makes for interesting days. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the traffic go by when things get a bit slower in the afternoons. It’s a simple life running a resort business in such a historical part of Jaipur. We just focus on the basic tasks and making sure our address is easy to find. The traffic on Amber Road can be a nightmare during the tourist season, but we just plan our day around it. We are usually in early and stay until the work is done. We take care of our little corner of Jaipur and the 302002 area is our home.
