Lilan Hotel & Resort is out in the Bagru area, near Sanganer in Jaipur. We are located at 68 Anisha Vihar, Sirani Karwara. This part of the city is still developing, so there’s a lot of open space and dust from construction. We decided to set up here because it’s away from the main city's congestion. Running a hotel and resort out here means we have to be very self-reliant. We have to manage our own water supply and make sure the electricity stays on. Our office is right here in Anisha Vihar. It’s a simple setup where we handle the daily chores. We have a small crew of locals who help us out. Most of our day is spent checking on the rooms and making sure the grounds are being looked after. Since we are near the industrial areas of Sanganer and Bagru, we get a mix of people coming through. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes we are out there pulling weeds or fixing a leaky pipe ourselves. We don’t have any fancy brochures that hide the reality of hard work. We just provide a place for people to rest and eat. The evenings are nice here because it’s quieter than the city center. We sit outside and plan for the next day. It’s a practical business run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. That’s just the way things are at Lilan Hotel.
