Lakhyani Watch Co has been sitting at 119/577 in Thadi Market for quite some time now. If you’ve ever been to Agarwal Farm in Mansarovar, you know how busy Thadi Market gets. It’s a real local hub, and we are right in the middle of all that activity. The shop is filled with watches of all shapes and sizes hanging on the walls or sitting in the displays. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when a few people come in at once, but that’s just how market shops are. We spend most of our day hunched over watches, using those tiny screwdrivers that are hard to hold if you aren't used to them. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. We see a lot of students from the nearby areas and families who have lived in Mansarovar forever. Sometimes a person brings in a watch that’s been in their family for thirty years, and we have to be real careful with those. Other times it’s just someone needing a cheap battery for a wall clock. We don't have a flashy storefront or big posters. It’s just the name on the sign and the work we do inside. We like being part of the market scene here. It’s loud, it’s crowded, and there is always someone looking for something. We just stay at our desk and keep the clocks ticking as best as we can.
