L & T Ltd

Working near Bisalpur Dam in Tonk has its ups and downs, but L & T Ltd has been here long enough to see it all. The location is a bit out of the way for some, but for the kind of work we do, it’s right where we need to be. It’s hot out here most of the time, and the wind picks up a lot of dust from the dam area. Our setup isn't fancy. We have some offices and a lot of equipment moving around. You won't find anyone in expensive suits here; we’re mostly in work boots and gear that’s seen better days. We do a lot of the heavy lifting that keeps things running around Tonk. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, but someone has to do it. The crew here is a tough bunch. We’ve had rainy seasons that turned the ground to mud and summers that make you want to quit, but L & T Ltd stays open. We don't really have a philosophy or a catchy slogan. We just have a list of tasks that need to get done before the end of the shift. Most of us live nearby, so we’re locals helping out with big projects. It’s a simple life, focused on the work at hand. We try to be fair and get things finished on time, even when the machinery acts up or the weather turns bad.
