Jaipur Plastics

If you go down to Bajaj Nagar and look for Shop No 792, that is where you will find us at Jaipur Plastics. We are very close to Nitin Public School, so in the mornings and afternoons, there is a lot of noise from the kids and the rickshaws picking them up. Our shop is packed with all kinds of plastic goods, from the big water drums to small little containers for the kitchen. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much as possible on the shelves. Most people from the neighborhood come to us when they need something sturdy for their homes. We don’t really do much advertising because the shop has been here for a while and people just know to come over. Sometimes the sidewalk gets blocked when a new shipment arrives, but we try to move it inside as fast as we can. It’s just a few of us working here, keeping things organized the best we can. The fans are always running in the summer because the plastic can make the shop feel a bit warm. We keep it simple and just focus on having what people are looking for when they walk in. It isn't a huge place, but it's our place, and we're usually here from morning until the sun goes down. Most days it is just about helping neighbors find the right bucket or bin.
