Shri Shyam Enterprises

We are located in Lunwa Village, which is in the Nawa Tehsil of the Nagaur District, not too far from Jaipur. Our shop is very close to the Jain Temple, which is the main landmark around here. We deal with various items that people in the village need for their daily work. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough. I started this enterprise because there wasn't much else in this part of the village. The building is made of stone and stays relatively cool even when the sun is harsh outside. We don't have many employees, just me and a young man from the next house over who helps with the lifting. Most days are spent sitting on the bench outside the front door, waiting for customers and chatting with neighbors. The temple brings a lot of people to this street on festival days, and that is usually our busiest time. We don't use any fancy computers, just a notebook and a pen to keep track of what we sell. Sometimes people bring their kids along, and it gets a bit chaotic in the small space. We try to stock a bit of everything so people don't have to travel all the way to the city. It’s a simple business, but it serves the community well. We close up when the sun goes down and head home for dinner. That is just how the days go.
