Down at Khasra No. 85, Kuchyavaali Bhankrota in Tehsil Sanganer, that is where we do our work. The name of the place is Krishna'S Olive Green Farm Private Limited. Being out in Sanganer, we have a bit more space than the folks in the middle of the city. We spend most of our time thinking about the farm and how the plants are doing. Olive green isn't just a name for us; it’s what we see every day when we are out there. The work is mostly outdoors, so we are at the mercy of the sun and the rain. It’s a simple life in some ways, but there is always something breaking or needing to be planted. We don't have a big staff of people in suits. Most of us are in work clothes and boots because that is what the job needs. We have been at Khasra No. 85 for a while and have gotten to know the soil pretty well. It’s not a fast-paced environment like a tech office, things grow at their own speed here. We just try to help them along. If you come by Bhankrota, you’ll see we are just a regular farm operation. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff that works. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise until it gets dark. We like the fresh air and the feeling of growing things from scratch. It is a long day but a good one.
