Khiniya Unnat Kisan Producer Company Limited is based out in Bundi. Kailash Chandkhiniya is the main contact person for us. We are just a group of farmers who thought it was a good idea to pool our resources. The name says "unnat," which means we want to move forward, but we do it in a very practical, everyday way. There’s no big corporate building. Most of our work happens right in the fields or in small storage spots. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it's mustard or wheat or whatever else is growing in the 323001 area. Sometimes it's frustrating because the market prices jump around so much. We talk about that a lot during our meetings. It’s not just business, it’s our lives. We all live here and see each other at the market or in town. We try to help each other out with fertilizers or finding better ways to sell what we grow. It’s a bit messy sometimes, managing a company when you've spent your whole life behind a plow, but we’re figuring it out. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. This is just us. We want to make sure the farmers in Bundi get what they deserve for their hard work. It’s honest labor, and we’re just trying to make it a little bit more stable for everyone involved.
