We are over at B 227 on Vaishali Marg. Most people in Vaishali Nagar know the Khatipura area pretty well as it's a good place for business. We do a lot of creative work with fabrics here. It’s not a factory, more like a workshop where we put things together by hand. There are sewing machines going for most of the afternoon and it gets quite loud. We have stacks of colorful cloth everywhere you look, from cottons to silks. Sometimes we run out of thread and someone has to run down the street to get more. It’s a lively place to be. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address numbers. People come in to see what we are making for the season. We do some custom stuff if we have the time and the right material. The patterns are usually drawn out on big pieces of paper first. We’ve been doing this for a few years now. The floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap fabric and thread. We don't mind the mess much while we are working because it means we are getting things done. We have a small bench outside for when we need to sit for a minute and catch our breath. The sunlight hits the front window really bright in the mornings which helps with the sewing. It’s a good spot. We just try to make things that people want.
