Khandlwala Kirana & General Store

Khandlwala Kirana & General Store is situated in Ram Nagar Sodala. It is just a basic shop on the street where neighbors come to pick up their daily household items. We have been here for a bit now, and the routine is always the same. We start the day by cleaning the front area and checking what needs to be ordered. We carry the usual things like flour, sugar, biscuits, and some stationery items for the school kids around here. Ram Nagar is a busy area, so there is always someone walking by or stopping their scooter to grab a packet of salt or some matches. The shop is not very big, so things are piled up quite high. If you look around, you will see sacks of cattle feed or large tins of oil near the back. It gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, but we try to wipe down the counters when we get a quiet moment. We do not really do anything fancy here, just selling what people ask for. Sometimes we run out of bread by the afternoon, so we have to tell people to come back the next day. It is just a normal life running a store in Sodala. Most people who live nearby know us by name, and we recognize their kids growing up. It is just a simple business for us.
