Khandelwal Kirana & General Stores

Khandelwal Kirana & General Stores has been on Sodala Hatwara Road for quite some time now. We sell the usual things you would expect from a local general store. Mostly it is just the family working here day in and day out. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and needs to pick something up. We have shelves full of stuff and sometimes it is hard to find a specific thing, but we know where everything is kept. The location is pretty easy to find if you are familiar with the Sodala area. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the day go by faster when you can chat with the regulars. We aren't trying to be the biggest store or anything like that. We just want to make sure people can get what they need without having to go too far. The door is usually open and there is usually a cat hanging around outside. Our floor is a bit worn down from all the walking, but it shows we have been busy. Sometimes we run out of things, but we get more in a couple of days. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth is enough for us. It is just a simple life running a shop on this road. We like being here and helping the neighborhood stay stocked up on the basics.
