Khandaka Sons

Our shop is number 80, tucked away inside Lalji Sand Ka Rasta. It is right near the Jain Mandir, which is usually how people find their way to us when they get lost in the lanes. Chaura Rasta is always a busy place to be. We have been here at Khandaka Sons for many years. It is a family thing that has been passed down through a couple of generations now. The space inside is a bit tight because we have so much stuff piled up on the counters. We do not have any fancy displays or modern lighting. It is just shelves and wooden counters. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three or four people come in at the same time. There really is not much room to move around then. We know most of the other shopkeepers around this part of the city. We often have tea together in the afternoons when the rush slows down a bit. It is a very traditional kind of setup. We do not use much technology here, mostly just pen and paper for keeping track of our books. The building is quite old and you can tell by the way the floor is worn down in the middle. We like it that way. It feels like the place has some history to it. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the sign near the temple.
