Khalsa Traders

Our shop is tucked away on Road Number 4 in the Vishwa Karma Industrial Area. Number 27, Barkat Nagar, to be exact. It’s a noisy part of town because of all the factories around us, but we’re used to it. We started Khalsa Traders a long time ago. We mostly deal in hardware and stuff that people in the industrial area need every day. The shelves are a bit disorganized, but I know where everything is. If you ask for a specific bolt or a tool, I can usually find it in a minute or two. My tea gets cold because I’m always running back and forth. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they’re working nearby and need something quick. The street gets pretty muddy when it rains, making it hard for deliveries. We spend most mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out. It’s just honest work. We don't have a big office. There’s just a desk near the front and some chairs for when friends drop by to talk. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the books. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy. Being in the industrial area means there is always something happening. We just try to keep the stock full so nobody leaves empty-handed when they stop by. That is just how things go for us here on Road Number 4.
