Our place is at 52 Nehru Bazar. It’s a simple shop where we have been selling and fixing watches for a long time. Nehru Bazar is one of those places that is always busy no matter what time of day it is. We have a decent selection of wristwatches in the front window to catch the eyes of people walking by. Inside it’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of stock and the repair area takes up a good chunk of the room. I spend my hours working on watches that people dropped or that just stopped for no reason. It takes a lot of patience to work on the small parts especially when it gets hot in the summer. We don't have air conditioning just a ceiling fan that spins all day long. People know us as a reliable spot to get a battery changed quickly while they do their other shopping in the bazaar. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local watch shop. Sometimes we chat with the neighbors or have some tea while waiting for customers. The shop has a lot of character even if the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. We like being here in Nehru Bazar and we plan to stay as long as people still need to know what time it is. Every day is mostly the same.
