Kanchan Arts

You can find us at number 89 in Gayatri Nagar - A, over in the Maharani Farm area of Durgapura. Kanchan Arts is a bit of a personal space for us. It is where we spend most of our waking hours working on different projects. The street is usually pretty quiet, which is good when you are trying to concentrate on something creative. We have tables set up for all the different things we do, and there are always brushes or tools lying around. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. Sometimes there is paint on the floor or scraps of material in the corner, but that is just how it goes when you are making things. We have been in Durgapura for a while now and we like the pace here. It is not like being in the middle of a big city center. We get a bit of light through the windows in the afternoon, which helps with the work. People who come by usually know us or have heard about the place from someone else in the neighborhood. We don't really do any big advertising. We just sit here, do the work, and let the results speak for themselves. It is a simple life of making things and keeping the shop going one day at a time. The fan hums in the background and we just keep busy with our hands until it is time to close.
