We are located inside the Aditya Hotel building on Bhawani Singh Road. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an office, but it works out well for us. Art Age has been running out of this space for quite a while now. Being in a hotel means there is always people coming and going, so it never feels stagnant. Our rooms are filled with samples and finished pieces. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, and you have to be careful where you step so you don’t knock something over. We do a lot of the design work right here on these tables. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just focus on the items we’re making. Bhawani Singh Road can get pretty clogged with traffic in the afternoons, so we usually try to time our errands for the morning. The light in the office is actually pretty good, which helps when we’re looking at colors or small details. It’s a bit of a maze back here once you get past the lobby, but once you’re in the office, it feels like its own world. We’re just a group of people who enjoy making things and seeing them through to the end. It’s not always perfect, but we put in the effort every single day. We stay busy enough and the routine keeps us going.
