We have our shop at Mansarovar, specifically on Kiran Path at 45/14. It’s a quiet residential street for the most part, which is nice. We mostly do picture framing and sell some art supplies. There are stacks of wooden moldings in the corner and glass sheets leaning against the wall. You have to be careful where you walk because there isn't much floor space left. We spend a lot of time cutting glass to the right size and making sure the corners of the frames line up properly. It’s fiddly work that takes a bit of patience. Sometimes people bring in old family photos that are falling apart, and we try our best to make them look okay in a new frame. We don't have a big staff, just me and a helper who comes in during the afternoons. The front window gets a lot of dust from the street, so we have to wipe it down every morning. We have a small stool for customers to sit on while they look at the different frame samples. It’s a simple business. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us just by walking past on Kiran Path. We close up around eight and head home. It’s a steady way to spend the day, working with our hands and seeing what people bring in.
