Kamal Kirana & General Store

Kamal Kirana & General Store is over in Ram Vihar Colony, right on the 80 Feet Road near Bajri Mandi Road in Panchyawala. It is a fast-growing part of Vaishali Nagar, and there are always new buildings going up nearby. Because we are on such a main road, we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. The shop stocks everything from basic groceries like flour and lentils to household cleaners and plastic buckets. It can get pretty hectic in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot to buy something for dinner. We have piles of goods everywhere, and sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered with crates of soft drinks or bags of potatoes. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, we just focus on serving the customers as fast as we can. My hands are usually busy weighing things or counting change. We have lived in this area for a while, so we have seen how much the road has changed over the years. Even though the area is getting more crowded, the shop stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the locals have a place to get their tea and sugar without having to go too far.
