Kaluram General Store

This shop belongs to Kaluram and you can find us at the Bag Ka Tiraya in Renwal. Since we are in the Phulera area, we get quite a bit of local traffic from people heading out to their farms or coming back home. It is a very basic general store where you can pick up things like soap, plastic items, and some kitchen staples. The shop sits right on the corner, which makes it easy for people to spot. We don't spend any time or money on making the place look fancy. It is a functional spot meant for the villagers to get their work done. We start our day early to get the shutters up before it gets too hot. Most of the people living around here have known us for a very long time. We handle all the work ourselves, from carrying the heavy sacks to serving the customers at the front. Some hours are very quiet and we just sit near the entrance. Then suddenly, everyone arrives at once and it gets busy. It is a simple life for us. We do not have any big plans to expand or become a large company. We just want to keep the shelves stocked for the people here in Renwal. The dust from the crossroads is always blowing in, but that is just part of being here. It’s a humble shop for the community's daily requirements.
