Jyoti Kirana & General Store

Being located near the Bus Stand on Sirsi Road means we see a lot of different faces every day. Jyoti Kirana & General Store has been part of this street for some time. We sell mostly groceries and small household things that people need in a hurry. The shop isn't very large, so things are stacked up pretty high. Sometimes it feels a bit tight when more than two people are inside. We open up early because that is when the first buses start moving. It's mostly quiet in the afternoons when the sun is hot. We just sit there and wait for the evening rush. My family helps out with the stock. We don't have a big team or anything like that. Just us. We try to keep the staples like flour, oil, and spices always ready. The location on Sirsi Road is convenient for travelers, but we mostly serve the locals living nearby. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, but we find what people are looking for eventually. It's a humble business. We aren't trying to do anything big, just keeping the shelves full and the door open. Life moves at its own pace here. You get used to the sound of the traffic after a while. It’s just how things go at Jyoti Kirana & General Store. It is hard work, but we are used to the long hours and the dust from the road. We just keep our heads down and serve the people.
