Jyoti Engineering Works

The workshop is at 53-A in the Sudershanpura Industrial Area. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal being cut and grinded all day long. You can always smell the oil and the heat from the machines. We do a lot of different engineering jobs, mostly fixing parts or making custom pieces that people can’t find anywhere else. It’s a messy environment. There are metal shavings on the floor and grease on almost every surface. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Most people just walk right into the shop and talk to whoever isn't busy at a machine. We use a lot of old manual equipment because it still works fine for what we need to do. It gets really hot under the metal roof when the sun is out, but we have a few old fans that keep the air moving a bit. We've been in this industrial area for years. Most of our regulars are other business owners from around here who need something repaired quickly. We don't have a big marketing plan or a website that looks professional. We just know how to work with steel and iron. It’s a hard way to make a living, but it’s what we know how to do.
