Maryam Exports

Johari Bazaar is a very busy place to work. Maryam Exports is right in the middle of it at No. 5348 in Mohalla Kheradiyan. If you can find KGB Ka Rasta, you are close to us. The streets are very narrow and always filled with people, scooters, and sometimes cows. We work out of a small space because that is common in this old part of the city. The building has been here forever. We mostly handle smaller items because it is easier to move them through the crowded lanes. Rickshaws often get stuck right outside our entrance. It is always noisy and there is always something going on in the street. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the daily orders. The lighting inside isn’t the brightest, but we have our spots where we can see well enough to check the products. It feels more like a family than a company. We have known the other shopkeepers on this road for many years. We aren’t doing anything very flashy or modern. We just focus on getting the exports packed and sent out through the local couriers. It takes some planning to get anything in or out of the bazaar, but we have a system that works for us. We just keep doing our bit at 5348. It is a tight squeeze but we are used to it. Sometimes it gets frustrating with the heat but we stay at it. There isn't much else to do when the orders keep coming in every morning.
