Jitendra Singh Poonia

Jitendra Singh Poonia is the name on our gate at 140 Sundar Vihar, which is out on Kalwar Road near Takiya Ki Chowki. This part of the city is a bit more spread out than the old center, which we actually like. We have a decent amount of space here, and it's a relief from the crowded markets. The building is a simple structure, nothing that would catch your eye from the main road. Most of the time, it is just Jitendra and a couple of helpers managing the daily tasks. We don't have a big neon sign or anything flashy. People who need to find us usually know the way, or they call us for directions when they get to Takiya Ki Chowki. Kalwar Road has gotten much busier over the last few years, so there is more noise from the traffic now. Our daily routine involves a lot of sitting and waiting for calls or visitors to arrive. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep watered, though the sun is quite harsh during the summer. Inside, the furniture is functional and there are piles of files that always need sorting. It is a quiet kind of work most days. We don't spend any money on advertising or fancy brochures. We just do our business and keep things moving. Sometimes the local kids play cricket on the road nearby, and we have to watch out for stray balls hitting the gate.
