Jaypore Collection

Jaypore Collection is found at D 1 in the Sudarshanpura Industrial Area, which is located near Khandelwal Packaging. This area is mostly about work and industry, so there aren’t many people just wandering around for fun. It’s all about the movement of goods. Our place at D 1 is a large, functional space. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few notes pinned up. The floor is concrete and can be quite cold in the winter mornings. We spend our days moving between the different sections of the building, checking on what’s arrived and what needs to go out. Being near Khandelwal Packaging means we see their trucks coming and going all day. The Sudarshanpura Ind Area has a very specific feel to it, a bit rough around the edges but very productive. In our corner of the Sudarshanpura Ind Area, near the Jaipur Collection landmark, we use heavy-duty shelves to hold everything, and they are mostly full to the brim. Our desks are cluttered with invoices and old coffee mugs. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with our sleeves rolled up, busy with some manual task. The power goes out once in a while, and we just wait it out or use flashlights to keep moving. It’s a very grounded way to work, and we like the fact that it’s all about the actual labor.
