This is Jay Bhanu Kisan Producer Company Limited. We set ourselves up at Goolar Chorah in the Baswa block of Dausa. Our main point of contact is over at Kamal Kumar’s place in the village. We are all local people here. Most of us have been farming since we were kids. This company is our way of trying to get the farmers together so we don't get pushed around in the markets. It’s tough work and we don't always have the answers for everything. Sometimes the rain doesn't come and everything gets stressful. We spend our days talking about fertilizers, crops, and how to get things moved. It's a very basic setup we have here in Dausa. We don't have any shiny brochures or big advertisements. Most people just know us by word of mouth in the village. We do the best we can with the tools we have. Running a producer company involves a lot of government forms which can be a real headache. But we keep doing it for the benefit of the village farmers. If you're looking for us, we’re right there near the crossroads. Dausa is a good place but it takes hard work to survive. We aren't here to promise anything impossible. We just want to work the land and help our neighbors do the same. That’s pretty much the whole story of who we are and what we do in this small corner of Rajasthan.
