Jaivik Ganv Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is Jaivik Ganv Farmer Producer Company Limited, and we are based in the Dudu area. Specifically, we're over at Bhairanabichoon. We operate out of the Shivam Dairy area where Laxmi Awana and the rest of the family are. It’s a busy spot with the dairy work going on alongside the farming. We decided to focus on more natural ways of doing things, hence the name Jaivik Ganv. It’s not always easy to go organic or avoid the heavy chemicals, but we’re trying our best. It started with just a few of us talking about how the soil felt different than it did when our grandfathers were farming. We wanted to get back to something more sustainable for the earth. We don't have a big corporate office. Our office is usually near the dairy or in someone's courtyard. We spend a lot of time talking about compost and natural fertilizers. It’s a bit more work, but we think it's worth it for the long run. We aren't trying to sell you a dream, just some good, honest produce grown with a bit more care. Sometimes the yields aren't as high, and that's the trade-off we have to accept. We're just a bunch of neighbors in Dudu trying to find a better way to live off the land. It’s a slow process, and we’re still learning every day. Sometimes we fail, but we just try again next time.
