Jaipur Royal Desert

We are located out in Pratap Nagar, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city center. Our place is in Sanganer, right opposite the Pinjara Pole. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the main markets, which I actually quite like. Most of our days are spent organizing trips for people who want to see the more open parts of Rajasthan. I started this because I grew up around here and know the backroads pretty well. The office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the keys and talk to people about where they want to go. We keep a few maps on the wall, though everyone uses their phones now. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy in this building, so we have to go outside to get a good signal for calls. It’s a family-run thing, mostly. My cousin helps with the paperwork when he’s not busy with his own work. We don't have a big fleet of shiny new vans, just a few reliable vehicles that we know won’t break down in the middle of nowhere. I spend a lot of time cleaning sand out of the floor mats because it gets everywhere. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the parking lot, but it’s a living. We just try to be straightforward with people about the costs and the timing.
